I'm no expert, but I've removed files from the main library folders - launchagents, lauchdeamons, to stop processes from launching at startup. Like adobe stuff.
You should also use Activity Monitor...

Shure, I have tested mini grand, and I enabled some parameters, and the rotary kontrollers on my midi keyboard work fine. The problem is on the FP, it just says 'MIDI MODE', and nothing works, faders...

It's still staring at a screen, though, and one half of your hands occupied with controlling the mouse, the other on the knob. You might as well adjust with the mouse and have the other hand free....

If it were me I'd probably route the multi-output to audio tracks and print them, to keep things simple. You could save ready made tracks for this to quickly import.

Yes. Any modern keyboard with midi connection can be used with Pro Tools, and control virtual instrument plugins and applications like Analog Lab.
