Your post is confusing as there is no such thing as an HD Native license. To work with an HD/Native card, it would be an HD license(or Ultimate for newer). Best to look at your iLok Manager account...

Indeed, I think your only option for the MBA M2 is the newest version of Pro Tools. Apple never cares about backward compatibility, so every time they update OSX or hardware, it usually breaks...

Hmm, for starters, I believe its a separate download for the installer. Then, it needs to go on a stereo instrument track(maybe you had a mono track?)

Only thing I would guess is that Pro Tools is not "up front"(the program in focus). This might happen if the PT window is not filling the entire screen and you clicked somewhere outside of the PT...
