Definitely, there is the choice to "get out of the loop" and use the version you have, as long as it does the job.
Basically that's the best option to pass a message to Avid, but they don't listen...

Absolutely! Everyone i know who's using ProTools has a complain about it, be it a bug...that never seem to get fixed, the stupid 32 I/O limitation (and others too), lack of development and OS support...

I don't use Console 1 with ProTools, because it is so clunky to use. I use it in Studio One 5 and enjoy every minute with it. The Console 1 integration is perfect and really shines there. :D
