8.1, 64-bit.
When I used the windows 8.1 "check comptability" feature, it was finally able to install. I suspect it intalled it under a compatibility mode.

I tried installing the Eleven Rack Stand-Alone editor on my Windows 8.1 box tonight, but it won't install (I did install the latest drivers first). I get the error message:

My CD came with 8.0.3, and as I mentioned above this worked fine with on my Laptop which has most of the same stuff on it (and same OS).

I left it for about 20 min the third time i tried it. After about 10 min the hourglass turns into a pointer and all hard drive activity stops, but the pop-up saying that it's installing the drivers...

Unable to install PT8LE

New 11R owner here. I've had a very frustrating time trying without success to install the included PT software. I'm running windows 7 64 bit. Every time I try to install off the CD it gets stuck...

Is it possible to upload Preset files (TFX files) from a computer to the 11R without having the Pro Tools software installed?

Alternatively, is there an easy way to view the rig details from a TFX...
