Very interesting! I added one of my hdmi monitors as an Aux I/O output and it stays as an output when restarted. I even saved this test as a template, restarted PT, created a new session from this...

Just tried it..doesn't work starting in Rosetta. It's not even a corrupt session that I can tell. I start a blank session, configure the I/O, save the I/O, save the session, and close. Restart PT...

I have absolutely no problem with source nexus, and would keep using it with my workflow because it's never let me down.

Only problem is once I saw the PT performance increase from running Native...

From your sig, are you still using PT 2022.9? The aux I/O components not coming back from importing a good I/O export might be a bug with that version, but I have no idea honestly. I bought a mini m2...

I haven't had a problem yet importing the devices back into the I/O page if they happen to not load in a session.

I'm not sure what's happening when people are having trouble importing a saved...

All the audio devices have been methodically placed at 48k..I'm gonna see how it goes for now. I haven't done a session with clients yet, but VO record sessions involve talent via Source Connect, and...

I've tried that too without success. I'll double click the pro tools save (with PT closed), and it starts PT, loads the session, but I end up at the same place.

Good thought, but unfortunately a no-go. It behaves the same way regardless of Aux I/O device selection, be it an aggregate, a native bridge, etc. It simply won't stick after a restart. I even tried...

After recreating your Aux I/O channels, have you tried exporting the Aux I/O, then re-importing just the ins and outs when it gets lost again? Maybe have an I/O save for each interface you have...

I originally had audio bridges setup for mac sound output (to grab in PT for recording...

Yes, I need to start a ticket, as I've tried everything I can think of.

As far as remapping, it's pretty easy for how I'm getting around it..if the Aux I/O's aren't there, I set it up how I want...

That's the freq response for each source in it's own right, one at a time, separately measured; the plugin was duplicated to ensure the exact same settings for the reading.

yep. it's been happening to me since 12.4.

i currently have 2021.12, and it's constantly crashing. maybe works 3 out of 4 times if i'm lucky, but that too much crashing.
