Finally got it to work !!!!, I unpacked the image and copied the folders over to a freshly formatted mac os extended partition. Then I downloaded os 9.2.2 update from apple. Clicked on the 9.2.2...

Thanks for the CD and fast delivery :-) , I followed the instructions however, I could not get OS9 to boot, I copied the .dmg file onto a formatted MacOS extended clean partition on my Hard Drive.
