I hope it's me being stupid, but this has plagued me forever.

Audio track, slip mode.
Paste a small region on top of the audio track.
Use grabber and slide the pasted region back/forth.

Re: 8PRE input with built-in mac output?

Thanks all - I didn't know about monitor switchers. I'll check into that.

Bottom line - if this works, it's a convenience for me and nothing else. I did try the mac midi/audio setup, but perhaps...

Re: 8PRE input with built-in mac output?

The home system is Windows-based. The mobile system is Mac-based. I am making the conversion to Mac after 3 years on PC, and in hindsight I'm not sure that was wise. It wasn't until after I made...

Re: Best Anti Virus Software for P Tools computer?

Don't you think it's odd that MICROSOFT had to create it's OWN ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE instead of fixing the OS? If they can write external software to cover up their own mistakes, why can't they just...

Re: PT9 Time Remaining broken during bounce

PS - if this is a horrible bug and the only fix was to implement an offline (non-real-time) bounce option, I could live with that :-)

Re: Zoom follows playback cursor - argh!

Found it - Options > Edit Window Scrolling -> No Scrolling.

I guess that makes sense - if the cursor is playing (and scrolling) and you zoom somewhere else, the cursor "wins". Ie., it'll zoom...

So does that mean it's not possible? I have 3+ years of PT data on Windows/NTFS. If I move to Mac how do I access that stuff?
