Any Drums plugin similar to 'Drummer' on garageband?
I know it's probably blasphemy asking that on the DUC, but I'm only an amateur home producer and I've been a bit out of the loop when it comes to PT and music production in general. So I was blown...

Oh I didn't bother looking at their price. I just searched on amazon and ebay, then google shopping. Not many out there, and think it was about £140 minimum.

Re: Can I use any of these "guitar" audio interfaces with PT10 HD and Asio4all?
zolko - I already have a 2I/2O interface at home, but I don't have the room anymore to keep a Pro Tools setup permanently set-up. So I'm after a 1i/1o, single input device like those mentioned above...

Re: Can I use any of these "guitar" audio interfaces with PT10 HD and Asio4all?
nst7, thank you that's great, I understand it now.
My laptop is an i7, so hopefully a combination of that and the fact these 2 interfaces have their own drivers will mean I won't have any latency...

Re: Can I use any of these "guitar" audio interfaces with PT10 HD and Asio4all?
Hi Chris,
Thanks! So if the interface has it's own asio driver, does that mean I don't have to use Asio4all to get PT to recognise it?
The Peavey Xport thing says it has an asio driver, and it...

Can I use any of these "guitar" audio interfaces with PT10 HD and Asio4all?
Hi. I need a very small, very portable method of recording guitar to Pro Tools on my laptop, without using a proper interface (ie mbox), so I can literally just plug the guitar in at one end, and...

Thanks Bill.
OK so presuming the audio interface itself is ok and doesn't created any latency, if I just took a 3.5mm jack from the headphone out of the interface and into my amp, that should...

Re: Still possible to upgrade from PT 8 LE to PT9?
Ok thanks nst7, very helpful.
I'm finding PT LE 9 very expensive to buy.. (odd when M-Powered is so cheap), so I think I'm going to have to get an mbox 2 and PT LE 8 (which i've seen for as cheap...

Still possible to upgrade from PT 8 LE to PT9?
Hi,
I'm ditching the MobilePre and copy of Pro tools 9 M-Powered I've got, as it just doesn't seem compatible with windows 7 and my i7 setup. So I'm going to either get an mbox 2 with Pro Tools 8...

I see. Could you describe the crackling distortion in more detail? Mine is so distorted you can barely make out the original sound. It's like an 8bit fuzz pedal type effect put over the entire stereo...

Re: i7 CPU, SSD HD, fast record drive - & still get crunching noise at 128 samples. H
Hi Tranputer,
This is with the MobilePre, but as I said it happened with my old mbox 1 too. What is an IRQ conflict? Is it like certain devices conflicting with each other? If so, how do I...

Thanks for the reply.. I'm using an MAudio MobilePre, but I used to get the same issues with my old Mbox1. Getting the MobilePre was the first thing I did to try and get rid of the problem, as the...

Hi,
I'm at my wit's end here. I cannot use the 128 samples H/W Buffer size without a horrible, daleks style crunching distortion effect. I also get it sometimes at 256 samples. Initially I thought...

Re: Recording 3 part vocal harmony group into a single stereo mic?

Or equally, if anyone can recommend a cheap old dedicated studio/monitoring amp for £30 - £60 that would be great too.
