Finally posting some tunes

Well in between everything else that goes on in life I have finally started to finish up some tunes...

Here are a couple of recent mixes:

Kind of an upbeat blues influenced rock tune: The Real Me

Slower (but not ballad speed) tune: When You Cry

I play guitar and sing on these tunes... I had a couple of friends play bass and drums for me.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Happy listening...

Stuart

Shendrie,
Nice songs...really like your voice too. Good job on the slide on 'The Real Me'. Good mixes overall IMO. Glad to get to hear your stuff.

Re: Finally posting some tunes

Thanks for the feedback Roy. It is my first attempt at singing as the front guy so I tend to be very self conscious about my vocals but your comments give my fragile ego a little boost.

Thanks for listening.

Guit4Brains,
Thanks very much...it can be a tough crowd on the Marsh... ...many of the engineers there have my respect, and it's good to have their objective ears hear my stuff. I'm working with Charles Dye there on the CapeII project, and his final mix of our song should be done anytime. Should be interesting.
thanks again, Roy

Xmas Tunes

Anybody creating anything Christmasy?
I been trying to come up with something but it's hard to
come up with anything that actually sounds different.
I keep humming.. Grandma got run over by a... well you know.
There must be some kind of formual to make a Christmas song.
Is there a Christmas mode like mixadeerian or something
that will give the right sound?
