You have been so well organized and helpful with so many people on this thread, that you deserve some sort of title...how 'bout "Thread Host" or "Referee"...??

We've been getting really good response from the cats in L.A., they really seem to like this one. I may have hit it with this one (if I do say so myself)

Hey guys,
Here is another one. My brother and I wrote this when we were transporting a guys sail boat from Bradenton to Cocoa Beach Florida. It was truly an amazing night out on the gulf. I hope you enjoy.

Very nice! The severly band limited vocals never go out of style - love 'em. Sounds like some obvious auto-tuning going on, but maybe that is on purpose...still I'd love to hear the tune with the human nuances left intact. Overall - love the tune and the melody.

So, how did you get Suzanne Vega to sing that ?

graveleye, I like it. I think the guitars could have a better mix. Andy Summers has a great chorus sound/mix, check out some Police records to see what I mean.

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here

Here's a song of mine with a little story to it. I was asked to record a live-performance in a park in Arnhem. Everything was a little vague but the band and i decided to try it anyway. Turned out that i had 10 minutes to set up my rig. That was placing 3 mic's on the stage (2 X AKG 430 from the side and a Behringer B2 for the percussion), and running a multicore to the back of the tent, and set up my mixer and ADAT-recorder. I was able to get a line from the FOH mix as well. So i ended up with 5 signals, 3 of my own that picked up the stage-sound and 2 with the FOH-mix. After some tweaking (mainly try to cope with dynamics, and adding some eq)i came to this result.

and the song is "Hotel - Jan the Man"
