Black Friday sale on new subscriptions
 

Since I gave in my perpetual license for a subscription (with the offer during Black Friday 2 years ago) the moment of renewal will arrive in 2 days. For the full price that will be ($299).
Is there any reason I should NOT turn the Auto Renewal option off and purchase a new subscription with the Black Friday offer ($199)? Maybe I'm overlooking something. I assume there will be nothing more than an eventual loss of loyalty offers (plugins) I received in the past or missing out on some that are about to come? Thanks

Hi, welcome to the community.

Subscription means your right to use the software ends when you stop paying. So get the best deal you can, there cannot be a downside to it.

i buy a new sub every year instead of renewing. it's always cheaper. bizarre.

Hello, I didn't quite understand the offer. I am currently using the Pro tools standard version. Can I now upgrade to Pro tools ultimate even though I have a standard subscription to pro tools? My subscription will expire on December 31st.

You need to contact Avid Sales, they are usually interested in upselling. Whether they refund your unused months with a discount offer I have absolutely no idea. But it does not hurt to ask.
