All 3rd Party Plugins Disappeared

Hey guys,

Hope everyone is safe and healthy?

In my almost 20 years of using PT, this is the first time I've seen that only Avid plugins are available to me when I open a session. All my other plugins are still in the AAX plugin folder, but when I open a session, I get a message that they are not there.

I have trashed preferences in vain, and re-installed PT 20.12 which is what I've been using without problems since last year. I've also checked for Windows problems, but all is good there. I can revert to a previous system image which I'm sure will work, but I'd first of all like to understand what's happening now and if there's another solution.

Any help will be appreciated tremendously. Thanks.

Are they all authorized with iLok? Have you opened ILM and done a SYNC to the iLok(its worth a try). What is the full path for your plugins folder(just wondering if Windows is confused)?

Thanks Dave. Not all of them are iLok authorizations, but all have disappeared.
In Windows 10, my AAX folder is in Progam Files/Common Files/Avid/Audio/Plugins

Hmmm, I'm stumped. I guess that drive image is the next step as I've never seen this:o

Neither have I! Solved, and I thought this might be helpful to anyone who ever experiences anything like this. It was corruption in Windows 10. I had a shortcut of the AAX plugin folder on the desktop, which still showed all the plugins, while in fact they had totally disappeared from the actual folder! In other words the shortcut wasn't a true reflection of the real plugin folder. I reverted to a previous system image, which solved the problem.
