Help Transferring Pro Tools LE 8 to another Computer

I am considering buying another computer, and I need to know how I can transfer Pro Tools LE 8 to it correctly. Can anyone help?

1. Put in your Pro Tools installer disc.

2. Click Install.

To elaborate, you are less likely to have problems if you reinstall from the original discs (or download) then if you try to actually copy it from the old computer.

Same thing goes for your 3rd party plugins and VI's.

It's your Content that you will need to backup and copy onto new computer. Anything you want to keep such as Sessions and plugin settings etc. After reinstalling PT just copy the backed up files and folders back to their original path.
