Eleven Rack Metal Album

David Reeves, which some of you may know as Dingle1 on YouTube, just released an album, which he says was done almost entirely with Eleven Rack. I thought you guys might want to give it a listen.

I was quite apprehensive about this and hummed and harred about giving it a listen for some time and finally relented and, you know, I'm glad I did, I am digging the tones from that album, regardless of whether it was done with an 11R or not.

I've been listening to a lot of Joe Stump lately and getting in the mood for more instrumental music so I just might buy this. Thanks for posting Chris :D.

Those are some of the best metal tones I've heard as Eleven Rack examples.

This is a copy of a message that I tried to send to Dingle over YouTube but was unable to as he only accepts messages from friends which is definitely something I don't want to do. So I will post the message here.

Hello Dingle,

Sorry, I don't know your real name nor want to make the effort. There was a message posted on the DUC forum by Chris Townsend saying that your latest CD was recorded primarily through the 11R. Something that took me a little by surprise knowing how closely affiliated you are with "Bugera/Behringer" company.

But, after much humming and harring I decided to take a listen to your CD and I was blown away by your tones. I had been listening to a lot of Joe Stump recently and was in the mood for more cool instrumental music and this was really good so I was about to "pull the trigger" as they say in modern parlance.

That was until I went to your YouTube homepage and saw the line "...love to prove religious people wrong". As a religious person, who plays with a Church as a musical director, I found that statement both personally highly offensive and undervaluing the music I play, as well as the music from religious composers over the many centuries - and that is just from one religion alone - as such I will not now buy your album. So you lost a sale, not that it will make any difference to you. And as a result will delete my post on the DUC forum saying what I thought about the album [won't do that now as this message won't make any sense].

So yes Dingle, I guess you did prove this Christian wrong - I thought I was going to be the album, and I was wrong!

I will not say any more other than I hope you have a good life.

Thankyou and Regards,
[Real name withheld].
