install trouble. please help
 

Please can someone help me. I am running windows xp service pack 2 and have just tried to install 6.4.1 on my system after doing a clean install of my os. After the install of pro tools when I try to run pro tools I get the message:

this software could not find the required user interface DLL. Please reinstall the software and try again.

I have. about 10 times now and it still does the same thing and sometimes goes to a blue screen for about a second the the system restarts.

I appolagise if this has been posted before but this is driving me nuts.

Please help.

This is the problem. 6.4 will not work with SP2. Go back to SP1 or try next PT version.
