Pro Tools 11.3 installation issue

1 Attachment(s)
I upgraded from Pro Tools Express to v11.3.

During installation I'm getting this:

Error 1309. Error reading from file

(screen grab attached).

The first file that is missing is 03FeelInjector_8th_Shgl.grv

Does the installer package need to be on the boot drive? (That's the way it is with programs such as Adobe Creative Suite.)

Or could it be that I haven't installed the AIR Creative Collection yet?

Re: Pro Tools 11.3 installation issue

Try installing it from the boot drive. Others have reported having missing file issues, and installing from the boot drive seems to have corrected it for most.

Re: Pro Tools 11.3 installation issue

Thanks--after I posted I did copy the installer to the boot and everything installed correctly.

The humongous AIR Creative Collection just finished downloading and I notice that in addition to the installer file there 6 .rar files:

Boom_PI, DB33_PI, MiniGR~1, Struct~1, Vacuum~1, and Xpands2~1

I assume these are plug-ins.

Am I correct in assuming that I must unzip and install each individually?

Thanks for your help.

No. They should be self extracting .rar files

EDIT* Just checked, they are actually .CAB files, you probably have WinRar set to default for that file extension which is why they look like other .rar files. Either way, they are self extracting, just run the installer.
