EuControl 2.6.2 : overrides mouse control
 

win7 64 EuControl 2.6.2 78202 (bmanager silverserver)

Hi all,

I have to kill EuControl.exe to get mouse control back when logging to daw over remote connection.
This is an old bug might have reported earlier, repeats every time with various versions.
And now it is started to local usb mouse. Killing EuControl.exe always works. It is very well made though, you can then run EuControl.exe and all MCs works nicely, great job done on coding.

Are there anything I can try to eliminate this problem?
"Redirect keyboard and mouse control to external work station" is turned off and is the only thing I can think of. What else should I try? Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

I am having the same exact problems. Wish they would fix this. I have not found a work around other than the Ctrl Alt Delete, open task mananger and quit the Eucon.exe as you described. Very weird as my keyboard works but not the mouse.

Hi,

same problem here ... back and forward buttons don't work, neither with a MS Wireless Mouse 5000 and the newest Intellipoint driver, nor with a Logitech MX 5500.

No answer from AVID and no progress since January 2011, when I bought the Controllers ... :-(

This is really getting frustrating.

The last information the I got from Avid two months ago is that they still working on it...Really Avid?...That was one of the reason I returned my Control. I dont think Avid is going to fix this problem very soon. They dont have enough people to even answer the emails on the tech support for EuControl side and they only one person to answer the phone.

Would it be possible to get some kind of official REPLY on this matter? I guess it is very annoying to probably lots of Artist users out there!
