MIDI drag and drop causes instrument track to drop channel
Okay, so I've tried this with all the plug-ins I have that have a MIDI drag-and-drop facility. Video example : https://youtu.be/SaJeQIwBr5Y
1. New session 2. New instrument track, choose new instrument with MIDI drag and drop facility (e.g. Stylus RMX, Strike, Superior Drummer...any others you can think of?) 3. Drag MIDI from plug-in to instrument track (note how the tick next to the channel drops from the MIDI output selector) 4. Save session and re-open 5. Instrument track will no longer have any MIDI channel assigned to it The same thing also happens when you drag and drop using the Massey DRT plugin, which was causing me no end of swearing. I will submit a bug report but not sure which plug-in is the best to use as an example? - Ideally one that a lot of people have obviously (!!) |

Re: MIDI drag and drop causes instrument track to drop channel
Thanks for checking this guys. Also seems to do the same when you drag and drop a .mid file straight from the desktop so I'm going to use that as my example for the AVID bug squashers.

Yes, but these are basic reliability bugs that should be addressed immediately.
