more sync problems
 

My recent post was about sync'n the MPC2000xl to pro tools 7.4 via M-Box 2

I was successful after reading digidesign's exact directions another user referred me to.
All of a sudden today I ran into a few problems. After I sync both the pro tools and mpc, I hit play/start on my mpc to begin recording but it doesnt trigger the pro tools to record. I have the MIDI OUT from my mpc to the MIDI IN to the M box. I have the 1/4 inch plugs from my mixer to the M-Box 2. I have the MPC set to sync'd like the instructions from digidesign, make sure pro tools is set to ANY for the MTC port, I hit the online button in the transport, record on the track, record on the transport, then play/start on my mpc to begin but it only plays audio from the mpc, without recording. I can hear the drum pattern playing in my mpc, but nothing is showing up on pro tools. In the corner it still says "waiting for sync" I'm stuck...

Here's how i got it hooked up while i'm trying to sync after composing my tracks

MPC2000xl *= Plugged In To

midi out (a) = M-Box-2's midi in
midi out (b) = Roland Fantom XR Sound Module's midi in
stereo out = Mixer - line-in 5/6 via 1/4 inch
record in = stanton t-60 turntable via 1/4 inch

ROLAND XR Module

Roland Module = mixer - line-in 3/4
midi in (See mpc midi out)

M-Box

Monitors L & R
MIDI IN = MPC's MIDI OUT

MAIN OUT = to reciever with speakers
