Drawing crossfades in group unmutes muted tracks
 

When I draw a group crossfade, the muted tracks in the group become unmuted....anyone have ideas on how to make this stop happening? Thanks

I've never seen this, but I'd guess it has to do with what type of crossfades you're using. If the first region is muted and the following adjactent region is not, I would think that using standard or pre crossfades would un-mute the first region...and vice versa.

well it doesn't unmute the entire track...it draws all the crossfades on all tracks in the group including the muted track, but the crossfades on the muted tracks become unmuted...ya know what I mean?

What if you un-group - select all regions/crossfades on the track your struggling with, and toggle the region mute state?
Another option would be to exclude the muted track(s)/region(s) from the group before creating crossfades.
