Control 24 compatibility
 

About to purchase a used control 24. The guy has an 882 interface for it. My question is: Is it still being supported in newer versions of protools? We're probably gonna run 7.4LE until we get a good price on an HD1.

Also, does anyone here love their Control 24? lol

The Control24 works with PRoToolsLE, ProToolsMix, HD, etc. It is just a control surface mind you, you still need a core system (Digi LE or TDM hardware). I have (2) rigs, each with a Control24---for how I work, it's perfectly fine.

Thank you kind sir. Yea, we're currently running an 002r(xp) and 003r(Tiger) in two rooms and we're gonna be upgrading to (2)control 24s 1 of them on HD1 when we find a good price on one. Cant decide which I/O interface to go with that yet though.

One more question, is the latest revision "h"? If so, can I have my control 24 upgraded at no cost to rev.H if it's an earlier rev.?
