AVID Space reverb TDM Windows compatibility - need help, please...
 

Dear DUC,

I have opportunity to buy Avid Space Reverb Plug-in (AAX TRAS TDM).

However, on AVID download section I see only TL Space TDM V8.0 is available for Windows. For MAC there is TL Space TDM V9.0.2, but not for Windows.

If I buy this Avid Space Reverb Plug-in (AAX TRAS TDM) licence, will it work with V8.0 TDM plugin and will this old TDM plugin work with Pro Tools HD10 (on Windows 7 PC)?

TLSpace TDM 9.0.2 was released for the Mac "Intel" switch from PowerPC chips
9.0.2 TDM ML was released for Mac Mountain Lion.

V8 is the Last TLSpace TDM for Mac with PowerPC

V8 is the last TLSpace TDM for Windows.

Even today, we use Space AAX V18, released with PT 2018

Thank you very much for brief clarification. In meantime I resolved the Space plugin license/compatibility ambiguities thanks to kind support by Mr. Jeffro from Avid. I'll post final results and instructions in new thread.

Only thing still unresolved (until your post) is - absence of TL Space TDM v9.0.2 installer for Windows. Are you 100% sure this version was never released? Interesting fact is that TL Space native v9.0.2 Windows installer exists but TDM not.

As I said 9.0.2 was for Mac change in CPUs, no reason to change versions for Windows.

Just that 9.0.2 was the first "Native" version. Until then you needed a card.
