Atmos Renderer consultant?

Hey all.. I'm a tad at my wits end with being unable to get signal out of ProTools into Atmos Renderer. I've got a pretty simple setup here (and am mostly wanting to do things in Atmos For Headphones mode), but for the life of me PT just won't send signal to the renderer. Anyone here offer paid consultation services? Can totally do a screen share via TeamViewer, etc.

PT 2020.12.0, 2020 Mac Pro, OS Catalina v10.15.7, latest Atmos suite software etc..
TIA

Make sure:

•PT is using Dolby Audio Bridge as a playback engine

•Atmos is solid green in Peripherals

•your IO page in Pro Tools shows routing to beds and mapped objects (check Dolby templates)

•Renderer input is Dolby Audio Bridge, output is your audio interface (or aggregate device).

If you're still stuck, PM me. Good luck!

Nice of you to help this guy out! I had issues myself and Jeff Komar helped me so it's great that you did also-:) Just wanted to say something. G

Great tips! If I may add - you also need to configure LTC so that the renderer's transport follows Pro Tools. The easiest way it to add the dolby LTC plugin on a dedicated channel in Pro Tools, route it out output 130 (the default LTC input in the renderer, but you can change it in preferences), and hit the "Follow LTC" button... I'm sure it has a proper name... it is just to the left of the stop button in the renderer.

Hi There,

This may not be the right place to post my question.

Why would the Dolby Atmos Bridge not be available in the Playback Engine of ProTools Ultimate 2010.9.1 running Mac os High Sierra 10.13.4

I have Aggregate I/O but NO Dolby Atmos Bridge option available. The Atmos Renderer is installed showing solid Green in the Peripherals Atmos Tab of ProTools have I missed something.

Regards

I would try installing it again. There is a known bug that sometimes on first install it actually doesn't install. There is literature to this regard but I don't have it to hand.
It happened to me and I went around the houses trying to find the problem only to reinstall and then it appeared.

Greetings,

I presume you meant to say that you are on Pro Tools 2019.10, yes? Dolby Audio Bridge needs to be visible in Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup > Audio as a valid Core Audio driver before it can be used including in Pro Tools.

Here are the system requirements for DAPS 3.5 and Pro Tools:
https://developer.dolby.com/globalas...ease_notes.pdf

(page 27)

I'm going to guess that you never allowed the system extensions to be able to be loaded:

Let us know.

Hey folks. I have an issue with Dolby Atmos setup.
I have PT 2021.6.0 running on iMac 2017. There's no "Dolby Atmos" tab in my PT peripherals. Both the software and drivers to work in Dolby Atmos are installed and configured. PT playback engine is set up as Dolby Atmos Bridge. Any chances to enable that "Dolby Atmos" tab or make it visible? Any suggestions, please? Thanks in advance!

Are you running Pro Tools Ultimate?
