EJ teams up with Weezer's bassist Scott Shriner!

Hi all.
Wanted to share this with my fellow DUCers.
2 alternate cuts of my "There's Something In The Graveyard" video
Shot in the historic Virginia City Cemetery, Virginia City, Nevada
Yep...that's my pal Scott (from Weezer) on bass!

While the official video is still a week or so away, the B camera guy made two alternate edits from his footage. Both are watchable, but nothing like the official cut, which has some special effects, and other surprises.

But, in the meantime, enjoy the 2 alt cuts of "There's Something In The Graveyard."

The band:

Chuck Mauk: Drums
Scott Shriner: Bass
Tim Gahagan: Farfisa Organ
VC Graves (John Arduser): Guitar
E.J. Wells: Front and center

OK, I've been a digi 002 rack user since 2003 but I've yet to post anything here.

I play acoustic guitar and sing -- trying to come up with a good stage act so I could possibly make some money.

Here's just a little cover:

000-18GE 12-fret Martin acoustic -> Mercenary Audio KM69 -> Grace M101 pre -> 002 rack

vocal chords -> Shure KSM44 -> GR ME-1NV -> 002 rack

Enjoy!

Re: Mac Mixes!!!!!!!!

These aren't really new, but they're my newest. Made a record with the band I was in last year. The band broke up but I'm damned proud of the record. I haven't recorded a thing since then, but I need to get to work on some song demos.

Some songs here.

I did not mix or master, but I engineered the recording, added the effects to the guitars (I'm the guitar player), fixed the vocals (pitchy singer in the studio) and prepped all the tracks for mixing.

Mark Allison and Kevin McKendree of Franklin did the mixing and Gene Rabbai of Hendersonville, TN, did the mastering.

Two new ones from Le Wango:

I think I'm gettin better.

Sometimes I think I'm gettin worse! :-)

PS ONLY play the Hi Fi version, I dun even know why Soundclick bothers with Low Fi, it's brutal.

I like your Voice!! (but use a pop filter).
Nice mild guitar.
make sure you do not increase speed when you start singing...

I've been looking for a page like this for ages.:D

Well this is my oasis cover of "Live Forever".

Some pointer or tips regarding mixing etc etc would be much appreciated.

Hi all,

I want to contribute something I put together.
It's a cover of the well known Jean Michel Jarre's Equinoxe 7.
I only used XPand! in this one, on all 14 tracks.

Mind you, I'm a newbie with this all.

Any comment is well appreciated ;)
