Getting Spectrasonics Trilogy to work in PT LE 8
I've installed Spectrasonics Trilogy, but I'm having problems getting it to work in PT LE 8. It seems like it's only a vst version so I tried wrapping it with vst to rtas wrapper but it comes up as "not a valid plugin, or failed scan". I got the 1.2 update, but that didn't help either. Does anyone know how to get this running in PT ? Is there a rtas version ?

It's not compatible with intel computers!! Works ok on ppc.. They do an intel wrapper but it very buggy and crashes lots!

'We've had no reports of problems with that product'... blah blah blah ;)

Well it works perfectly on my PC with XP Pro and ProTools 8 LE, and in 7.3 and 7.4 before.

In two months Tillian will be released. It's a free upgrade for Intel Mac owners of Trilogy. It goes WAY beyond Trilogy.

My trilogy box still has the shrink wrap on it... No go on intel mac. But I remember the glorious days of yesteryear when I could dial up any bass and tweak the amount of string noise in a patch... Those basses always sounded extra thick in any song. I bet they would sound even better with a Maserati Bass plug inserted on the track.

I'm on pc running PT LE 8 though....but how do I go about getting it to work ? The vst to rtas wrapper doesn't recognize it as a proper plugin/vsti, so it won't wrap it. it's grayed out.
