003 control surface definitely works with Mojave
 

This MIGHT be my last post here as I have moved to Logic Pro X. However, I can absolutely CONFIRM to everyone - who has a 003 - that THIS DEFINITELY 100% WORKS in Mojave. :cool:

However it will not WORK in Catalina (as this is 64 bit architecture). :eek:

So you should have a 'dual boot' i.e.:

Logic Pro X/PT 2019.5/Mojave 10.14.5 (for 32 bit architecture)

Logic Pro X/PT 2019.12/Catalina 10.15 (for 64 bit architecture)

This is my set-up :-)

Remember this:

On my old Late 2015 iMac i had a FW400 to FW800 (003), and I had this going into a Thunderbolt to Firewire adaptor. (iMac)

However, I now have the above set-up going into:

Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (because I have a newer iMac with T3 ports. :D

The 003 is still a ******* fantastic machine, however, Catalina WILL NOT accept 32 bit architecture.

I have a Mojave volume (plus my Mojave data) and a Catalina volume (plus my Catalina data) – I can switch back and forth between them, no problem.

You cannot have a shared pool of data though. That could work for some applications, but the Apple applications don't play well. :cool:
