AVID Sync HD won't generate 23.976 LTC
 

Hello,

I am trying to get an AVID SYNC HD to generate LTC at 23.976 whilst online. The SYNC IO is getting an HD video ref from a GEN10 at 23.976 1080p and pro-tools is happy with the sync but it won't output a useable LTC signal. When I listen to the output on headphones it just sounds like (and probably is) stationary timecode. It will generate perfectly well at 25 or 24 fps, just not 23.976.

Is there a technical reason for this or is it a firmware / pro-tools version or indeed user issue?

Answer - GEN10 was set to 1080Psf not 1080P. User error!
