7.3 post production ? omf
 

The add. says that there is a lot in ver. 7.3 for post productions , yes speciel if you have toolkit.
I do still missed a simple OMF import options. Why do I have to pay so much exstra for a Digitranslator ?
If you buy other high end software you often have the OMF included, Why not here Digidesign.
In early ver. you have the OMF tool, but now it just gone and you make a extra profit when you sale digitranslator.
I was realy hoping that this time you would do something about it, but...o ´ no.

Digi is not a software company: they manufacture hardware. ProTools is the software you need to make their hardware work...like the song says, you can't have one without the other. Like any good drug dealer, they've made it so palatable/appealing/rewarding/easy to use, that we've become addicted to the software which in turn leads to hardware purchases.

To answer your earlier question: not everyone in the Native world needs OMF. By making people who do need it pay for it, more people can afford the LE version...that means digi sells more equipment, which is what they want.

Me, I'm gonna buy stock.
