Pro Tools 2021.12 MacBook Pro M1max list of working and not working things
 
************UPDATED TO PRO TOOLS 2021.12*********
Working:
Pro tools - no major issues with audio or picture, performance is very good (fluent playback, no CPU spikes, no errors, very very stable, did not crashed single time by itself)
plugins:
Uad, waves, plugin aliance, fabfilter, slate digital, psp, kazrog, soundtheory, synchro arts, valhalla, xln drums, oeksound, voxengo, ssl plugins, IZOTOPE RX9 FIXED!!!!, SETTING TRACK TO X FORM FIXED

not working:
Plugins
speakerphone,

hui: Not working major issues with ssl uf 8 or any other hui,



I don't have AVID plugin pack installed (I read it causes issues with M1 and Monterey)

Note also, that RX9 is a disaster on Intel Macs running Monterey too.(same set of circumstances).

Native Instruments Kontakt inside of Pro Tools 2021.10 is not working.

Loading NI sample libraries crashes pro tools instantly.

Hi!, I'm new with Monterey and M1 Max, my Waves plugins don't work in protools ultimate... I contacted waves but they didn't reply yet.
Any new about any future update?

Are you on Waves v13? You have to be for them to work.
(And 100% all work for us on a M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro)

I found the problem... My licenses were activated in my old mac... Thanks!:D

on my M1/Monterey system:

WORKING
* mcdsp v6 plugins
* soundtoys
* tokyo dawn labs
* helix native
* AIR instruments
* Lexicon PCM Native Reverb

NOT WORKING
* mcdsp v5 don't show up at all, though they worked on big sur (m1)
* spitfire labs (spinning beach ball on first played note)

Any session with Ozone 9 Advanced (latest version) makes ProTools crash.

Izotope:

is a complete mess within Pro Tools. I managed to get RX Connect and Monitor to work for which is of some use.

Only certain components of Ozone work. The Low end Focus and Ozone 9 AAX plugins crash every time, whereas vintage limiter and others seems to work.
Don't try wrapping AUs or VST with Blue Cat as this doesn't work either.

Celemony Melodyne Studio:

Can't transfer audio into plugin. Can't import or open sessions with active Melodyne's in them

D16:
Nothing works

PSP:
Only ARM coded Plugins work

Elastic Audio:

Can't seem to open sessions or import tracks with Elastic audio enabled in them as per audiorepublica

Acustica:

Plugins run but cause overloads easily even at high buffers
