Artist Mix Apple Mac M1
 

Hi all

Had a search on the forum but nothing has come up. Has anyone tried the Avid Artist Mix with the new M1 Macs. I'm looking at the Mac Mini M1 specifically.

Is there any proposed timeline as to compatibility?

it already works in Rosetta mode on the M1. We are working toward the June release for Native support including working with Apple/Steinberg/Adobe etc. so that their EUCON is Native too.

Thanks both for your responses. I went ahead and got one. How did you get it to talk to your DAW? It’s shown in EUControl and shows the little rectangles on the artist mix display. But doesn’t seem to want to react to Logic Pro X at all… just continues to show the thin rectangles. Thanks

I think you have to run Logic in Rosetta mode. Apple are working on native EUCON support for their next release, as are we with our end.

Confirmed my artist mix works in Rosetta mode, and am looking forward to it working in native mode!

I can’t get it to work. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. If anyone would be willing to talk me through their process, I’d be very grateful

21.6 is now Native M1. But it also requires apple to do a release of Logic with the M1 EUCON in it. They are working on it so hopefully soon.
