PT 10 Playback Issue
 

I'm running PT 10.0.0 on OSX 10.7.3, 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon.

Sessions run fine for ten, fifteen, twenty minutes but then playback jams/staggers/won't play. The transport flashes play and stop but I have to close the session and reopen in order to continue. Anyone else had this problem?

Have this same problem on my video satellite-system running PT LE8.
But it seems to occur only, when booting up from sleep mode.

That's why Sleep should not be used for a Pro Tools computer:rolleyes:

But it's convenient. You can WOL it, when sleeping. Don't give me the :rolleyes:, makes me :(.

Well if it is convenient for you to restart after being in sleep mode, then go for it. But there is a reason Avid says DON't put it into sleep mode :-)

Meh, I know. Those party-poopers.
Still, it's more convenient to restart the Mac, than going to the machine room and switching it on. I tend to be really lazy, you know...

Try changing the buffer size to another setting, then back again. If that doesn't work, trash Prefs.
