PT10+10.7.2: COPY+PASTE automation settings "not compatible ?"
Anyone getting a "the setting cannot be pasted because it is not compatible" when pasting a previously copied plugin setting (obviously to the same type of plugin)?
I'm getting this even when pasting to the same plug I just copied from ! |

Hi,
Yes I get this all the time. Very annoying. If I try to copy automation settings first thing after I open a session, I can not problem. If I've been mixing for a while, I get this error. You can go to the plug in menu and copy and paste from there. Hope this issue gets fixed soon. |

Anyone have a fix for this issue?
Quick Copy / paste of plug-in settings is key for me, and I'm getting the error every few minutes here. Even copying / pasting w/in the same instance of the same plug-in. -jeremiah |
Re: PT10+10.7.2: COPY+PASTE automation settings "not compatible ?"
Same problem here (PT10.0.1, MacOsX 10.7.3) - my impression is that it started after going from PT10 to 10.0.1 though. That problem occurred under 10 as well, but not as often by far. Now under 10.0.1 I have to constantly use that plug in menu to be able to work at all.

Re: PT10+10.7.2: COPY+PASTE automation settings "not compatible ?"
make sure you don't have any AudioSuite PlugIns open. As soon as you have you need to take them "out of focus" by deselecting the red focus button in the upper right corner. This should hopefully be fixed in a future release, it's utterly stupid!

Re: PT10+10.7.2: COPY+PASTE automation settings "not compatible ?"
In my experience here, sven76 has it right:
deselect the "focus" selector on ALL plugins, audiosuite and RTAS/TDM. On my system this solved the problem allowing copy/paste from the frontmost plugin. -jeremiah |
