recording acoustic guitar
 

Ok here goes. I'm starting the first official session for my EP in a few weeks and I'm going to do the guitar tracks at home and then bring it to the studio for the vocal. I have PT LE v 8 with the stock plug ins,mbox 2 and will be recording with a Rode Nt1a. I'm thinking of the sound that Johnny Cash got on the American Recordings that he did with Rick Rubin. Where should I start with the EQ and levels to get the sound I'm going for?
