Plug-in Doctor Alternative For Pro Tools

Is there an alternative to Plug-in Doctor for Pro Tools? For some reason the demo I downloaded is asking for the file up at the top of the plug-in interface (as it does not detect anything) and when I add the plugins for it to detect (dragging it from the pro tools plug-in folder), it says that it does not recognize the file.

Re: Plug-in Doctor Alternative For Pro Tools

DDMF’s Plug-in Doctor is only for VST, AU, VST3

For AAX:
Bertom Audio - EQ Curve Analyzer
https://bertomaudio.com/eq-curve-analyzer.html
- see above link for compatibility

“EQ Curve Analyzer is an analyzer and signal generator plugin to see the frequency response (magnitude and phase) of any plugin or hardware.
Insert the plugin you want to analyse between two instances of EQ Curve Analyzer, the first one set as a signal generator and the second one as an analyzer. Then adjust the latency if needed. That's it!
It is particularly useful as a learning tool to see what classic EQs emulations are doing for example. It also features a "group" system that enables to compare two analyses in real-time on the same graph.

This plug-in is provided under the Pay-What-You-Want system, including for free. Please consider paying for it.”

Your DAW is preventing this plugin to work properly by suspending plugins processing.
It probably thinks there is nothing happening on this track currently.
As a workaround, please enable input monitoring on this track, or put a dummy tone generator in your chain … or anything else that would force your DAW to run plugins processing on this track.”

What workaround did you try and what was the outcome?

Plugin Doctor itself has been available for AAX since last year. See here: https://ddmf.eu/plugindoctor/

What it doesn't do is support aax format for analysis even when Plugin Doctor is on an insert in PT. Only supports the aforementioned vst/au/vst3 formats.
