Re: Let's hear your latest stuff....right here

I placed my school assignment from Viljandi (Sound Recording ABC) on this temporary link:
>--deleted--<
When you click on the file 'Urmase loetud reklaam.wav' ("Urmase loetud reklaam" translates to "Urmas' Read Advertisement" in English.) there, you can listen to it directly on your phone or computer.
We learned tools such as EQ, DYN, effects, and this was one of the final assignments.
Pro Tools was the program we were taught to use.

I will replace this with my dad's bee recording at the end of November. It won't stay here forever because it's a school assignment. But maybe it's interesting to listen to.

Voice cuts really good, and interesting Foley effects.

Love it. Drive the young ones to greatness killah trkz.

The snare handclap seems a tad loud on both sets of monitors. Nonetheless it's great.

Hi Interlagos! Third Life, Averse Solo" is such a beautiful piece! I'm really grateful that you shared it here. I love everything about it—the soothing, beautiful melody, the high-quality recording, and the well-balanced stereo. It's tastefully done, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cover art is also lovely, and that matters too!

I've included one of my own experiments here; it's nothing special. These are ice sounds that I recorded using a regular iPhone 14 Pro. For processing, I used various plugins, including the recently advertised 'Soundtoys free plate reverb plugin Little Plate,' as well as the latest Waves plugins like 'Silk Vocal'.

Three different sound processing:

Hi inspire,
Thanks for your feedback !
I used to put some field recordings on my songs for having an ambiance and so breaking some sounds too close.
Put some reverb on your recordings should be interesting.
Have a great day !
Charles.

Good field recordings, the third one reminds of a section on the Play Station game Resident Evil warehouse scene.

Storm at Pirita. In the background, the clinking of yacht rigging against the mast is audible in the wind. The processing has been done using the 'Free Plugin Suite from Venn Audio'. In addition, the Soundtoys Little_Plate effect has been used. Recorded using TASCAM PORTACAPTURE X8, used with Tascam WS-86 Windscreen.

Hi Tom. Like your gander to give a listen, as well as all you great folks. Firstly, I'm strictly a live Demo guy. Only do demo's for bands to get bar gigs. That's my love on helping bands. This is the only one project song project I spent time on. My goodness, the axeslinger I hired sent me 16 guitar tracks, and all with D.I's. Never again, hurts the brain (LOL). Hired gun for drums was Ryan Hoyle, former drummer of the band collective Soul.

I played and tracked bass, Moog Taurus Pedals, tracked vocals for singer, mixed, with light loudness. Absolutely know nothing about mastering.

*disclamier* I begged the singer his vocals needed to be louder, but he was the boss. We will redo the song mix with louder vocals in April.

Cover tune of Geddy Lee, song called Home On The Strange.
