Mbox Pro audio drivers for PT 11
 

My new iMAC doesn't have a disk drive, so I need to download the audio device drivers for the Mbox Pro for PT 11.

I see version 1.2.0 as an Mbox installer on the download page, but that isnt the driver, just the desktop software.

Where would the audio driver be located? The disk I have says version 9.

1.2 is what you want. I'm running it with a MBox 3 Pro.

Correct, you want the v1.2.0 download if you are using an Mbox Pro 3rd gen model with Pro Tools 11.

That includes the control panel and the driver.

Got it downloaded now. Thanks.

But, the front panel of the Mbox on the desktop screen says "Hardware not Connected" and "not streaming"

PT doesn't acknowledge the hardware in the hardware section and the I/O's aren't found either.

I'm using a firewire cable that's brand new and the Mbox is powered up and working.

Thoughts?

Hi Guys,
For those who have trouble with the control panel of the mBox pro 3 while in Protools, just delete your 1.2.0 drivers and install 1.1.5, work very well in both PT10 and PT11. The 1.2.0 "freeze" the mbox control panel while Protools is open, which is very annoying ;-)
