I know; seen that thread and so far that's just a plan and not reality for us just yet. As is said the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. How are we to know when it's live - do we have to keep checking the page linked to earlier or is there going to be an email blast?

You can subscribe to http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/f...nRackEditorFAQ and when we change "Downloads will be available from" to "Downloads are now available from" it will email you.

There will also be a thread added to the Technical Alerts forum (that's a good one to subscribe to).

Overall, its pretty much the same as the integrated editor we had in PT10 and lower.
