Re: Eleven Rack Standalone Editor
So I hooked it up. Works fine...tested in PT 11 and Studio One V2...it's nice to have this as stand alone.

New standalone editor first impressions
Just installed it on my MacBook Pro system 10.9.1 and everything seems to work. While I'm very happy to have it since I use Logic X, I wished I could re-size the app to make it larger. Maybe there's a way to do this but I haven't found it yet. Also, the app seems quite dark to me.

That has more info and links the Eleven Rack Editor FAQ as well as the (yet to go live) Registration page which provides the installers. |
Re: Eleven Rack Standalone Editor
According to the read me..these are the issues.
----- Known Issues Eleven Rack Editor does not show list of audio clips with Embedded Settings in the current Pro Tools session. (Item #161) Unlike the Eleven Rack Control window available in Pro Tools 8.x through 10.x, Eleven Rack Editor does not show the available audio clips in the currently open Pro Tools session which contain embedded Rig settings. On first launch after installation, Eleven Rack Editor window displays white space when moved. (Windows only) (Item #152) When first launching Eleven Rack Editor, the application window is maximized and displays extra white space if the window is moved. Quit and re-launch Eleven Rack Editor to correct this issue. Eleven Rack display shows “GetControlIndexCC: unknown model” when bypassing all pedals with the Option/Alt key. (Item #121) When bypassing all effects by Option-clicking (Mac) or Alt-clicking (Windows), Eleven Rack displays an error. This error can be dis- missed and safely ignored by saving the current Rig or selecting another Rig. When choosing “Save All Rigs to Computer...”, overwriting an existing rigs folder does not work. (Mac Only) (Item #113) When trying to replace an existing rigs folder by choosing “Save All Rigs to Computer...”, it may appear that the existing folder was re- placed with the latest rigs. However, the existing folder will not have been replaced. Use “Save All Rigs to Computer..” and select a dif- ferent location to save all current rigs. You can manually delete the old folder in the Mac Finder or Windows browser if desired. Eleven Rack Editor window disappears in Mission Control view. (Mac only) (Item #101) When Eleven Rack Editor is the focused application and Mission Control view is entered, the application window becomes unavailable. To reveal the Eleven Rack Editor window: focus another application or show the Finder, and then enter Mission Control view. Noticeable volume decrease when saving or loading all Rigs to or from the computer. (Item #677) When saving or loading all Rigs to or from the computer, there is a noticeable volume decrease in volume for the currently selected pre- set. Toggle preset back or forward by one preset and then back to the preset that was previously used to correct this issue. |
