Re: Let's hear your latest stuff....right here
Manny I'm on eBay now looking and researching these. I've just remixed the track with more bass and played it in my car. In the control room it was way to bass heavy but in my car it had that energy I've alway been lacking.
Cheers for your help |

[QUOTE=IntelDoc;1867154]Pretty happy to post this link. A band from Moscow found me on Reverbnation a few months back. Not sure of the email legitimacy factor I asked to have them email me directly with the inquiry. Well 2 days later it arrived and I was receiving the files shortly after to mix a 10 song record. Well with a newborn and all it has been tough, not to mention the language barrier, but having a good time.
Great sound. Very subtle build but that guitar figure towards the end sounds explosive but sits in the mix where the vocals still cut. I would have probably had a little fear about turning it up that loud but it works here. It does help that the notes are pretty far above the vocal in pitch. Good parts from the band. |

Do you do any parallel compression on the drum before mastering? If you don't try it and see if it helps at the mastering stage. If it's still doing it, try using a multi-band mastering compressor, if you're not already using one. This will allow you to do some dynamic equalization and should help with your snare. |
