help please PT9

I updated to Snow Leopard 10.6.3, then installed the combo update here Mac OS X v10.6.5 Update (Combo),
then installed the audio device drivers from the disk, then pro tools, as states in the manual, then I installed the demo as it suggests to make sure it's working but it says lost communication with the hardware, increase buffer, but it did load the demo , just can't play it back, and my 003 console says offline?, WHY ME (lol)

Did you install the separate 002/003 drivers?

I installed the software update from apple (BAD) I know, I did by accident, anyways my PT9 boxed version came with device drivers, and installed the 003, but I did download the combo update, but didn't install it yet cause I already installed the APPLE update, is it too late to install the combo?

Do you have the 003 selected in the playback engine.

FWIW my MBP which I hadn't been using with PT for quite some time installed the software update and PT would not launch. I repaired the disk permissions and ran the Combo Update and it helped.

I'm, shocked that there is no sticky keys or any kind of replies from from DIGITECH SUPPORT regarding PT9?, sunburst is it to late to install the combo after I already installed the the regular update from APPLE?, thanks:confused:

Its always been normal procedure to run the Combo Update instead of the Software update on the Mac when it comes to updating the OS.

You should be able to run the Combo Update after the fact. I was. Check your disk permisions when done.
