:mad:Well I have a recorded audio that seems to be getting into the program ( I can see the waveform while it's recording) but once the recording stops the waveform disapears and the track is pink with no waveform and no audio..please help!!!!:mad:

As a start, make sure you've installed the latest CS update for the version of Pro Tools you're running.

Do you hear your recorded files?
If yes try the following:
If your track view is set to "blocks" try "waveform" instead...

O.k. I'm not seeing a waveform now..when I first started to see if I could get some input I did see a waveform but no audio on playback....now I just see a pink block with not wave for and not audio...I think I might now what the problem is...my drive is formatted for HFS...I think I need to get a new drive and re-format it in OSX...The drives that I have were formatted in OS9 for digital performer...

My mac is older as well..1 ghz processor, 2mb L3 Cache, 1.5 gb ram, bus speed is 133mhz....

HFS is mac format. Specifically, it should be HFS+ Journaled.
