Avid Pro Audio Community - 2nd hard drive IN macbook pro

Yeah I saw I that too and was going to post to see if anyone was done this mod, The other side of the coin is does it really make a difference if your dragging around a External hard-rive or a external superdrive? Your still dragging around a extra piece of gear. (although the MCE gives you the option of leaving the super drive at home). The MCE Drive bay could offer a performance boost or if could cause all sorts of other problems.... The add on drive is riding the ATA bus and not the SATA bus if that would make any difference. Still it looks interesting. This products been out for a while so I would be willing to bet there is a Powerbook user or two here that installed this conversion kit. I like the idea a lot though
