Dock Fader Upgrade - Possible?
 

I love using my S3 and Dock. I so wish that Dock fader matched the S3 for quietness and feel. Is there anyone who might know if that fader can be swapped for an S3 fader? Would that work or is it a completely different animal?

Any help appreciated.

Its exactly the same Alps Fader! Maybe you have a dirty one.

Really?! It's always been "crunchy" sounding in comparison since I took it out of the box back in the day. Customer support told me it was a different fader back then... so if that was wrong I'm excited. So if I purchase a fader part for S3 and install it - it will fit/work in Dock? That would be awesome!

What is the best route for me to purchase the part? Any suggestions?

Got a new fader for dock (S3 fader) and problem solved! Thanks so much! Took 2 minutes to install. Nice design on the Dock.
