Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
thanks aussie, i liked the vox alot more on this version, i do think the drums should be lowered, but im sick of re-mixing and uploading it to post....so im gonna remix it and leave it for now, maybe i'll post the remix by the time my next song is released.
i HOPE to have a hard rockin song out by the end of the month called "agression" but its not moving as well as i hoped it would, but we'll just have to wait and see. thanks again for the listens guys |

Well it´s been some time since i last posted some work, but i´ve just uploaded new tunes to the site and you´ll be most welcome to take a listen..
Most notable perhaps is my forray into the trance-genre (which btw. is not my normal genre) with the remix of ATW´s "Tears Of Joy" - www.mp3.com/skantkin You´ll be welcome to comment.. Kind regards PAM |
Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
Aussie - I appreciate your advice re. bad eq problem. I'm using Event Project Studio 6 speakers. I think I might need some crappier speakers and/or a subwoofer for monitoring. I'm going to import a commercail cd into pt and see how it sounds. It's weiird...I use a bunch of different speakers in my life and all sound different. At home - TV with 5.1 stereo, in car with an awesome setup, at work with bigt sony headphones in crappy tinny speakers and of course my studio. Still, do you think getting a cheap set of monitoring speakers and/or subwoofer might be the answer? If so anyone have some recommends?
soundsurfr - It's actually an electric guitar whammy up at the end of Still In The Night. I just cut out/lowered all instruments but acoustic guitar finishing notes and then at the last instance raised the electric final whammy chord to integrate them. I'm a cheater! P A M - Very satisfying cut. I listened to Morning light also and although it's a different more ambient feel, I really liked it alot. http://www.sircuss.com |

Greg/Soundsurfr,
'Dance of the Black Eyed Virgins' is really nice...(It's true that you and I think alike in some ways. When I even saw the title, I thought of my 'One Eyed Gypsy Waltz' title... ) But this took me to a cool place... very subtle feel, but with nice percussion. What is the male 'voice' program I'm hearing? (Great job on it's unique melody...) thanks, Roy |

go i huvet,
'Lost in You'...beautiful job, man. Great vocals, clean production, great mix...that's what it's all about. thanks, Roy |

Roy:
Thanks for listening and for the comments! ...and believe me, it's tons of fun to play live as long as the drummer stays on time. John |
