The Mix is Dead! Long Live the Mix!!!

I appreciate the responses/opinions of all my Mix brothers and sisters, but Digidesign, can you chime in please?
What is the real deal? Will Mix/Mix + be G-5 comapatible??
And how about an eta? Just a rough estimate that I guaranty no one will hold you to???

Just an answer would do. a - We can't do it, b - it's not worth it financially or c - we are working on it and know it can be done in due course. Just tick a box so we can all make plans for th future.
