digi has a bunch of videos posted online to view for free? why pay for them when you dont need to?

Because Kenny gives you the gritty details on how to use PT and its features, and he always explain in layman's terms how and why he use a certain workflow. His videos are very good, and definitely worth the low cost. I haven't seen his "Elastic time in action" yet, but I will soon.

I just thought, I'd share the link as there might be some people that already know Kenny's tutorials and are happy to hear about the new release.

I also know all the Digi videos and really enjoy them (especially because of Phil Jackson), but Kenny's tutorials are just different. He doesn't work for Digi and he doesn't need to say "nice" every minute or two. I own the first two DVDs and there is a lot of great PT tips inside.

Right now I'm downloading the Elastic Time tutorials, and I hope to find some great ideas or workflows in there, too. And $39,99 is a steal for over 2,5 hours of tutorials, especially for us Europeans due to the weak dollar!

NICE!

I can second that of the Kenny vids. Very good and a logical approach to using the tool versus having a loop that is already set in stereo tweeking it. Kinda deceptive on exactly what E.A. can do. Kenny is a great guy and a great engineer as well. Too the point and no pedalling around. He uses logical and quick ways to accomplish his tasks.

Spot on for them. If you can get past his New Jersey accent that is.

I'll probably stick with Pro Tools if and when my mbox 1 finally craps out, mainly because of the Massey plugins and Kenny's tutorials.

Just another thumbs up for Kenny If they are half as good as his Beat Detective tutorials than they will be fantastic.
