S1 automation dropping out - HELP

Hi I recently bought a lightly used S1 and I'm having problems with the touch automation dropping out after 50 seconds. Has any one had this happen, if so any luck solving this issue? Sounds like it a known hardware issue?

Any help would be much appreciated.

It's a hardware bug in the very early models if I remember correctly. There was a large hardware replacement program back then.
