Fatal Error - Pro Tools Perpetual
I recently got a replacement iLok key as I'd broken the previous one.
Initially all was working fine. But now I get the message "Could not find imported function in specified DLL", and Pro Tools won't open. Any ideas? CJ |
Re: Fatal Error - Pro Tools Perpetual
Hi, welcome to the forum.
The error doesn't sound like a problem with the license or the iLok, but you really should let us know more in detail what is happening. Does the error show when you launch PT? Have you tried pulling all plugins out of the plugin folder to run PT without 3rd party plugins? Installed/updated anything recently? And you should give us as much info as you can on computer, OS/software versions, etc. Start here: Help Us Help You You might create a signature with your system specs in it. Go to the "User CP". |
Re: Fatal Error - Pro Tools Perpetual
I googled your error like this:
"imported function in specified dll" site:duc.avid.com The quotes makes the five words act like one search word, and the site: part filters out any hits other than on this forum. (Lots of us do it this way because the search function on the forum kinda sux, frankly.) I got six hits and the very top one has a post from someone who fixed it, apparently. The others might contain clues, as well. |
