change volume during song on specific track.automation?
 

I know the SE is version is basic but I was wondering is it possible to change the volume to decrease then increase again on a specific track just in case the performance was good but the volume wasnt steady. Any tips how to do this is appreciated

To change the volume (or any other parameter including effect controls) for specific parts of a track, just click on the Automation button on the bottom left of the Track Header (underneath the Record and Elastic Time buttons). This will open the Automation lane where you can choose the parameter that you wish to change. There is also a Learn About Automation... option in this menu which will give you more information.
