Keeps crashing with the following assertion, not using anywhere near a lot of CPU...

Assertion in "..\ ..\ Sys\ Win32\ Sys_FileLocWin32.cpp", line 548.

Hello and welcome to the Pro Tools forum. Sorry you are having issues, but you have come to the right place for help.

Unfortunately your post doesn't contain much information about your system or what you were doing when you received the error. The general rule of thumb is the more information you can provide, the better we can help.

As a first step, please read the Help Us Help You thread, where you will find general Pro Tools set-up and troubleshooting information. There is also a section that talks about how to provide detailed system information using the SANDRA utility.

Again, give us a little more information and someone on this forum should be able to help you out.
